About me
A resident of Ocean Springs since 2010
I first moved to the coast during the summer of 2006. I worked at the Beau Rivage for almost four years and developed many relationships with so many people in the casino industry. To this day, I tell people it was the greatest job I've ever had.
I moved back to Florida to learn a new trade and after a short period or time(less than a year) I decided to come back to the coast and start my new business of gold buying. My business grew quickly and I had stores in almost every city on the coast. We were in Bay St. Louis, Gulfport( two locations), D'Iberville, Biloxi, Ocean Springs, and Pascagoula.

In 2012 I purchased some commercial property here in Ocean Springs. I leased one building out while also having a family business run by my mother called Artsy Fartsy in the other building. After a year my lessee went out of business and I decided to get into the restaurant/bar business. I opened Big O's Sports Bar & Eatery in 2012. We became a popular venue to watch all sporting events. Things were going well and I ended up buying some commercial property in Gulfport and Biloxi, in hopes of expanding. Even with all the planning we do, life happens and we never know what's coming around the corner. After almost three years in business I decided to shut down the business due to having a major heart attack and subsequent open heart surgery.
It was a tough decision but it was just too much for me to take on by myself.
So I went from owning multiple businesses to focusing on recovering. In 2018 an opportunity came my way which ended up becoming Lil' Market Deli & Bagelry and we have been a favorite of the coast to this day.

So given my current place in life with having a local sandwich shop which affords me the opportunity to connect with our residents, as well as my history of dealing with numerous cities not only for my own businesses and properties but also on the behalf of my commercial renters, and add being a resident of this great town through the last three administration changes, I feel I'm the most qualified to step in to the position of alderman at large. I hope you believe in me and with your confidence and votes. we can keep our great city not only charming but also as thriving as it ever was!

The direction we decide to take these upcoming four years is going to be pivotal to the future of our city for decades to come. The candidates we choose will play a vital role in our direction.
Many residents want to keep the quaintness of our little town and rightfully so. Business has also boomed in the last four years which has put our town in the national spotlight as a travel destination. Given these factors, I feel that achieving balance these next four years is imperative.
I am a resident and business owner, so I truly understand what it takes for balanced, responsible and welcomed growth.
As alderman at large I will also ensure residents of every ward have access to either their immediate alderman as well as myself for any concerns. I feel it's important for our residents' voices to be heard.
